WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU BOOK

Our estimator will visit your property to assess the work and provide a detailed quote. During the estimate, feel free to ask questions — we'll walk you through the scope, approach, and any considerations for your property.

On the day of work, our crew will arrive on time, perform the agreed work, and clean up all debris before leaving. We typically complete most residential jobs in a single day. Large or complex projects may require additional time — your estimator will discuss this with you upfront.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

Affordable Tree Experts Marietta LLC provides professional tree removal, tree trimming, pruning, stump grinding, brush clearing, debris removal, emergency storm response, crane-assisted removals, and related tree care services.

Pricing is based on tree species, size, branch density, hazards, equipment requirements, site accessibility, and overall project complexity.

• Estimate Arrival Window: Up to 1.5 hours
• Scheduled Work Arrival Window: Up to 3 hours

Estimates are valid for three (3) months unless otherwise stated in writing.

Only the services specifically listed in the written estimate or contract are included. Any additional labor, materials, restoration work, hauling, grading, seeding, sod installation, topsoil, or other requested services not expressly identified in the proposal shall be considered additional work and billed separately upon customer approval.

STUMP GRINDING

• Mulch and wood chips are left on-site unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Surface roots are ground when reasonably accessible.
• The area will be leveled where practical following grinding.
• Topsoil, backfilling, seeding, sod installation, landscape restoration, and final grading are available as additional services and must be specifically listed and priced in the written estimate or contract.
• If a stump cannot be safely accessed with our equipment, stump grinding will not be performed until the estimate is revised.
• Stump grinding is available only as part of an active tree service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

DEBRIS REMOVAL

• Debris removal is provided only as part of an active tree service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Existing yard debris, brush piles, leaves, or storm debris not generated during our work are not included unless specifically listed in the estimate.

PAYMENT TERMS

Payment in full is due immediately upon completion of the contracted work.

Payment is not contingent upon:

• Insurance reimbursement
• Mortgage company approval
• Third-party inspections
• Completion of unrelated repairs
• Customer occupancy or use of the property

Cancellation fees, trip charges, mobilization charges, and any other charges authorized under this agreement are due immediately upon invoicing and shall be subject to the same collection provisions as any unpaid balance.

Processing Fees Apply:

• Online invoice payments: 2.99%–3.5%
• Phone payments: 2.99%–3.5%

Checks:

• Must be dated within fourteen (14) days of job completion.
• Receipts are issued after the check has cleared.
• Returned checks are subject to the maximum fee permitted by Georgia law.
• Any unpaid balance immediately becomes due in certified funds.

INVOICING & INSURANCE CLAIMS

Invoices may be delivered by email, text message, or paper copy.

If filing a homeowner's insurance claim:

• The homeowner is responsible for documenting damages and submitting the insurance claim.
• Affordable Tree Experts Marietta LLC is not a public adjuster and cannot negotiate insurance claims on behalf of the customer.
• Upon request, we will gladly provide supporting documentation including invoices, certificates of insurance, and W-9 forms.

COUPONS & DISCOUNTS

Quarterly paper coupons may be redeemed only if:

• Mentioned when scheduling.
• Presented at the beginning of the estimate.

Coupons cannot be applied after an estimate has been prepared. Photographs or copies of coupons are not accepted.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

Customers may cancel or reschedule a scheduled job without penalty by providing at least seventy-two (72) business hours' notice before the scheduled work date.

Cancellations made with less than seventy-two (72) business hours' notice are subject to a cancellation fee equal to thirty percent (30%) of the total contracted price. This fee compensates Affordable Tree Experts Marietta LLC for reserved labor, equipment scheduling, administrative expenses, and lost business opportunities.

If an Affordable Tree Experts Marietta LLC crew arrives at the scheduled job site and the job has been canceled without proper notice, the homeowner or customer refuses service, no authorized representative is available, access to the property is denied, the crew is instructed to leave before work begins, or work cannot proceed because the customer failed to provide reasonable site access — the customer agrees to pay:

• The applicable 30% cancellation fee, plus
• A trip charge based upon the labor, personnel, equipment, trucks, trailers, cranes, or specialty equipment dispatched to the project.

Trip charges shall be determined by Affordable Tree Experts Marietta LLC based upon the actual resources mobilized for the scheduled work. Affordable Tree Experts Marietta LLC reserves the right to waive cancellation or trip charges at its sole discretion.

Affordable Tree Experts Marietta LLC may also reschedule work due to: severe weather, unsafe working conditions, equipment failures, emergency response calls, utility outages, material shortages, labor shortages, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate the original schedule; however, same-day or next-day service cannot be guaranteed.

INSURANCE & LIMITED LIABILITY

Affordable Tree Experts Marietta LLC is fully licensed and insured. View our Certificate of Insurance.

Should accidental property damage occur due solely to our negligence, Affordable Tree Experts Marietta LLC will repair or reasonably compensate for the damage. Payment for completed work remains due regardless of any pending repair or insurance claim.

UNDERGROUND UTILITIES & CONCEALED PROPERTY

The customer is solely responsible for identifying and disclosing all underground or concealed improvements including, but not limited to: irrigation systems, septic systems, water lines, sewer lines, drain lines, gas lines, electrical service, fiber optic cable, telephone lines, invisible pet fencing, outdoor lighting, landscape drainage, underground tanks, private utility lines, and any other concealed improvements.

Affordable Tree Experts Marietta LLC shall not be responsible for damage to any undisclosed, improperly identified, inaccurately marked, or unknown underground improvements.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT NOTICE

Professional tree work frequently requires trucks, cranes, skid steers, loaders, stump grinders, and other heavy equipment. Reasonable equipment access may result in: tire tracks, soil compaction, lawn disturbance, landscape damage, driveway impressions, pavement cracking, broken curbing.

These conditions are considered inherent risks associated with professional tree work and do not constitute negligence.

HIDDEN TREE DEFECTS

Trees may contain hidden decay, cavities, insect damage, unstable root systems, dead wood, or structural defects that cannot reasonably be detected before work begins. Affordable Tree Experts Marietta LLC shall not be liable for damages resulting from concealed tree defects or other naturally occurring conditions beyond our reasonable control.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

To ensure a safe and efficient work environment, the customer agrees to:

• Provide safe and unobstructed site access.
• Remove vehicles and valuable items from the work area.
• Notify neighbors of anticipated noise or temporary disruptions when appropriate.
• Identify underground utilities and hidden improvements.
• Obtain any required HOA, municipal, or governmental approvals.
• Confirm they possess the legal authority to authorize work on the property.

Affordable Tree Experts Marietta LLC is not responsible for damage to undisclosed property or utilities.

PHOTOGRAPHY AUTHORIZATION

Unless the customer provides written notice before work begins, Affordable Tree Experts Marietta LLC may photograph the property before, during, and after work for documentation, insurance, training, quality assurance, advertising, website content, social media, and other lawful marketing purposes. No personally identifying customer information will be disclosed without permission unless required by law.

WEATHER & FORCE MAJEURE

Affordable Tree Experts Marietta LLC shall not be liable for delays caused by: severe weather, natural disasters, equipment failures, material shortages, labor shortages, utility outages, government actions, traffic incidents, emergency response priorities, or any circumstance beyond our reasonable control. Work will be rescheduled at the earliest reasonably available opportunity.

COLLECTIONS

The customer agrees to pay all reasonable costs associated with collecting unpaid balances, including: attorney's fees, court costs, collection agency fees, interest as permitted by applicable law, and all other lawful collection expenses.

LIABILITY WAIVER

By authorizing work, the customer agrees to release, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Affordable Tree Experts Marietta LLC, its owners, employees, subcontractors, and agents from claims arising out of or relating to: unsafe jobsite conditions, hidden or undisclosed hazards, undisclosed underground utilities or concealed improvements, property line disputes, HOA restrictions or violations, neighbor disputes, hidden tree defects, acts of God or other natural events, and circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Affordable Tree Experts Marietta LLC.
